Grow Sprouts Program
The Grow Sprouts Program introduces children and families to farming, gardening, and food sustainability in a fun and interactive way. As a youth-focused branch of our Farm-to-Table program, Grow Sprouts empowers kids to connect with the land, learn where their food comes from, and gain practical skills that last a lifetime.
Program Highlights:
- Teaching children how to plant, nurture, and harvest crops.
- Giving kids the chance to plant their own seeds, visit their growing plants, and take seedlings or seeds home to share their learning with their families.
- Engaging families in beautification and landscaping projects that uplift the community.
- Learning the journey from farm to table — from growing produce to preparing healthy meals.
- Building self-sufficiency, confidence, and self-esteem through hands-on agricultural experiences.
Through this program, youth not only learn how to grow food but also discover the joy of sharing their skills at home and contributing to their communities in meaningful ways.
Literacy Through Art Program
The Literacy Through Art Program encourages children to explore reading in an engaging, creative way. Kids read age-appropriate books, then use art projects to recreate scenes, characters, or express their feelings about the story. This unique approach combines literacy with creativity, helping youth not only strengthen their reading skills but also process emotions, build imagination, and develop critical thinking.
Program Highlights:
- Reading books together in a supportive environment.
- Using art forms such as drawing, painting, collage, or crafts to respond to stories.
- Encouraging self-expression and emotional awareness through storytelling.
- Building a love of reading by connecting books to creativity.
- Boosting comprehension and confidence in young readers.
This program helps children grow both academically and emotionally, turning books into bridges for creativity, connection, and self-discovery.
Youth Resilience Program
A safe space where teens can connect with one another and build tools for emotional well-being. Through peer support groups, trauma-informed workshops, and mental health awareness activities, young people learn coping strategies, develop resilience, and gain confidence to navigate life’s challenges.
Youth Leadership Workshops (In Development)
Our Youth Leadership Workshops are currently being designed to give young people the confidence, skills, and mindset they need to become tomorrow’s leaders. These interactive sessions will focus on self-awareness, teamwork, communication, conflict resolution, and goal setting.
Through hands-on activities, group discussions, and mentorship, participants will one day have the opportunity to:
- Develop strong leadership habits early in life.
- Practice public speaking and storytelling to inspire others.
- Strengthen teamwork and problem-solving skills.
- Build resilience and lead with empathy.
